Mol2Mol 5.6 free evaluation version

Download the evaluation version from here. All of Mol2Mol's features are available in this trial version with complete documentation. You can freely use and experiment without any restrictions for 30 days.

System requirements:

Windows^© 95SP1, 98, Me, NT, 2000, XP, Vista or 7;
Full or high colour graphics card recommended with 1024x768 resolution or more;
10 M available memory for small molecules, 25-30 M for large biopolymers.

Download the zipped installer (unzip it and run the exe file).

Windows Vista, 7 and 10: Mol2Mol 5.6 runs without any problems under Windows Vista, 7 and 10. Unfortunately, its Help system does not work because these OS versions do not support the older (but otherwise perfectly usable) WinHelp system by default. The solution:

A) Windows Vista or 7: You may want to download and install the Vista or 7 compatible version of the WinHelp system. After this not only Mol2mol Help but all other older Winhelp files will be functional again.

Unfortunately, Microsoft does not allow to include and distribute the WinHlp32.exe file in any third party applications, it must be done separately by the users.

While the program is being installed, a warning may appear that the program is not digitally signed. Disregard the warning and continue with the installation.

B) Windows 10: Download and install the Windows 10 compatible version of WinHlp32.exe from www.majorgeeks.com. This is a perfectly working updated version of the earlier one. However, under the latest versions of Windows 10 the Help file not always starts up directly from the program. In his case start the mol2mol.hlp file from the program install folder.
